From financial assistance and maternal wellness to community events and essential resources, our programs are designed to meet mothers and families where they are and provide meaningful support when it matters most.

Through grants, maternal wellness programs, essential resources, community outreach, and family centered events, Merry Mommy Initiative provides practical support that helps mothers and families thrive.

A highly anticipated fundraising gala honoring mothers and celebrating the entire family. A time for community connection, outreach, fun, and recognizing recipients of grants and giveaways.



Annual Merry mommy brunch

A financial grant for women who are pregnant or up to one year postpartum and need financial assistance for essential items for their child, resources, services, and basic needs. ($1,000 per family selected)


Annual “Amos Grant”

Provides brand-new car seat/stroller systems for pregnant moms who are facing financial hardship and cannot afford a car seat for their newborn. (3–5 families, or as many as possible)

Annual “FTLOS Carseat Relief”

A community outreach event that offers new and gently used items for women and families to shop for essential items for their children.

Community baby showers

Provides pro bono doula support for families facing economic challenges or disabilities. ($4,000)


Annual Dara Doula Fund

A dance and fitness class designed to encourage pregnancy and postpartum fitness, wellness, and community.

MOM MOVES

A program created to assist women who have faced health challenges, such as breast cancer, hormonal issues, or mental health concerns, that impact their ability to breastfeed. The program provides financial assistance to help families afford high-quality formula and/or donor milk.
